HOW TO FOLD YOUR CUP?
There are different ways to fold your menstrual cup, when inserting manually (without the MY BETTER PERIOD Applicator).
Every woman is different and will prefer one solution over another.
We recommend that you try all three methods to see which one works best for you.
C-fold
Flatten your Cup and fold it in 2 on itself.
The folded side is to be positioned at the back of your vaginal canal during insertion.
Punchdown Fold
Inserts one edge of the ring towards
inside the container.
The large side is to be positioned at the back of your vaginal canal during insertion.
My Better Fold
Perform the Punchdown Fold, then fold your Cup over on itself so that it is as thin as a tampon (or almost).
C-fold
Flatten your Cup and fold it in 2 on itself.
The folded side is to be positioned at the back of your vaginal canal during insertion.

WITH THE APPLICATOR?
We designed the Applicator so that all menstruating people can free themselves from the constraints of periods, while respecting their lifestyle, their health and the environment.
The Applicator makes it easier to insert the Cup, and allows for correct positioning to prevent leaks.
It is easy to use, both for beginners and for menstrual cup enthusiasts.
My Better Fold
The first step is to fold your Cup as thin as possible. To do this, do the My Better Fold explained above.
Insert your Cup into the Applicator tube
Slide the Cup into the Applicator tube using rotating movements.
We recommend that you lightly moisten the inside of the Applicator tube with water to facilitate the insertion of the Cup into it.
Position the pusher
Take the pusher and place it against the base of the Cup.
If you decide to keep the stem of the Cup, you can position it in the small hole of the pusher provided for this purpose.
Position the Applicator at the entrance of your vaginal canal
Place the first 2 centimeters of the Applicator into your vaginal canal to insert the Cup.
Insert your Cup
Once the Applicator is positioned, push the Applicator pusher to release the Cup from the Applicator. Remove the Applicator.
Your Cup is inserted.
My Better Fold
The first step is to fold your Cup as thin as possible. To do this, do the My Better Fold explained above.
Insert your Cup into the Applicator tube
Slide the Cup into the Applicator tube using rotating movements.

Insert your Cup
Once the Applicator is positioned, push the Applicator pusher to release the Cup from the Applicator. Remove the Applicator.
Your Cup is inserted.
HOW TO STERILIZE YOUR CUP AND APPLICATOR?
The MY BETTER PERIOD Sterilizer facilitates the sterilization and hygienic transport of the Cup and the Applicator.
Filling
After unfolding the sterilizer, fill it 3/4 full with cold water.
Add the Cup and/or Applicator tube
Position your Cup and Applicator tube in the Sterilizer so that the Cup is completely under water.
3 minutes in the microwave
Close the Sterilizer using the cap, then place it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
Your Cup and Applicator are sterilized.
NB: Once microwaved, the Sterilizer may be very hot. If this is the case, we recommend that you let it cool for about two minutes before handling it.
Filling
After unfolding the sterilizer, fill it 3/4 full with cold water.
Add the Cup and/or Applicator tube
Position your Cup and Applicator tube in the Sterilizer so that the Cup is completely under water.
3 minutes in the microwave
Close the Sterilizer using the cap, then place it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
Your Cup and Applicator are sterilized.
